Review of 7 PCS Victorian Jacquard Comforter Bed Set

This comforter is beyond gorgeous. However, it is low quality. The stitching throughout the top of the comforter (which holds the batting in place) comes-out/rips as early as day 1, before washing. All we did waslay it on the bed and give a couple average tugs and fluffs to see how it would look, and the first ripping sound occured. And upon examination, a small whole was found in the fabric next to the stitching which ripped. I guarantee - we were not rough and this has never happened to any other comforter we have ever purchased. Quality follows price, as expected.

My overall review is that if the comforter is going to receive only light use, then it is absolutely gorgeous for the buy. If you intend to wash it reguarly and use it heavily I personally would find something else. I've only had it a week, so I can't offer long-term advice.

Don't get me wrong. I love the sheets (the leaves look small in the image, but they're actually about two inches long.Very bold and pretty.), but ordering from Macy's has been nothing but an on-going headache!I ordered 2 Cliveden fitted sheets from Macy's and received 2 *flat* sheets. After calling Macy's about this I felt my next order would be correct.Well, would you believe Macy's sent me one fitted sheet and one flat sheet.I called Macy's again.The following week when my Macy's order arrived I opened the box with apprehension.Of all things, I had been sent a *fitted* sheet -- just what I ordered to begin with.And you wouldn't believe the runaround I've been given about returning the three unwanted flat sheets to Macy's!Right now I have a sealed box of three flat Cliveden sheets by the door waiting for UPS to pick up.The last time I called I asked to speak to the supervisor and she assured me that she would have UPS pick up the sheets.UPS hasn't shown up yet so I guess this means yet another call to Macy's disorganized, uninformed staff.If you order from Macy's I wish you the best!I will *never* order from them again!For the record, I ordered the Cliveden comforter, 2 shams, bedskirt and two pillows from Amazon without any problems whatsoever.Way to go, Amazon!

I purchased this item. I am NOT impressed at all. I have a brand new queen size bed and I have only slept in it THREE times---- I noticed yesterday the top of the comforter was torn! the area of light green design is a sheer material, very thin, and feels like velvet. sure its nice, but it was obviously not sewn on well and has torn! I had to sew it back together and it looks like crap! I would NOT recommend this product. the comforter is very light, not sturdy made :(

This product embroidered with red flowers on the golden fabric is beautiful and elegant more than I expected. I am in particular happy with its inner side finished with 100% of cotton which is very agreeable. The only reason why I rated this with four stars is that the bed skirt is less pretty than that of the ad. As one of the quite practical people, I am content with this product in that this comforter feels inexpensive with good quality. One more thing, this product is perfect for cold weather, not summer, based on its thickness and heaviness.

The quality of this comforter appeared to be excellent.However, we purchased what we thought was Black and WHITE - what we got was black and cream.We didn't even take it out of the package because it would not work for us.The quality looked to be very nice, but as previously stated, it was not black and white as it shows in the picture.Very Disappointing.

Review of Nautica Woodmont Comforter, Sham and Sheet Set

To soften the fabric of the comforter, I washed it in an extra large washer on gentle. After washing, I discovered the batting extremely lumped up 1 foot around all sides of the comforter. I line dryed it, then opened the side seams to manipulate the batting back into place and better attatch it to the seems. I also "machine quilted" the comforter in multiple places so it will wash better the next time. I still feel I paid a reasonable price for the whole set. It will be fine for a college dorm.

This comforter is not baby blue (as it appears in the picture).It is also not aqua, as it is described.It is more of a seafoam green with a tiny hint of baby blue.Also, the comforter is made to resemble silk shantung (but it is a cheaper polyester with more sheen).The picture makes it appear as though it is a soft velvet.Don't be fooled!I would go with a more expensive comforter set next time- you get what you pay for!

I am happy with this product in terms of the pretty appearance of all of the items and big enough size of the comforter. Beside, the thickness looks quite decent for cold weather. There is still downside that the fabric is not really characterized by skilky touch, and I may need additional blanket inside the comforter for seriously cold weather. Overall, this product is splended based on the price.

I bought the whole set and loved it when I first got it.Unfortunately my daughter stained it with a little bit of zinc oxide cream (diaper rash cream) so I took it to the drycleaner and not only did the stain NOT come out but the entire comforter looks really old and discolored.I thought that it was because of the drycleaner so I washed one of the shams and the same thing happened.I am extremely disappointed on how much I spent on this set to now have an old looking comforter.

Review of Modern Home Comforter Set - Blue Elliptical

I saw this set at Target but they didn't carry cal. king size. So I ordered this item when it was on backorder, and when it came in 6 weeks later, it was a nice surprise. The colors are just very nice and relaxing. We even painted the bedroom a light blue to match. The cal. king drapes nicely over our king size bed. I definately reccommend ordering a size bigger than your bed is. Comforter is not too thick, but still a little warm for our Florida summer nights. I've since purchased a chocolate color microfiber throw to use at night. The dust ruffle is a muted blueish-gray, does not compliment the great comforter color, but we have bed rails so the color isn't seen much anyway. The shams are a bit stiff and itchy, but maybe after a few washings they'll soften up. If not, they're great for decoration. All in all, very happy with this set.

We just got our duvet and are enjoying the softness of the micro-fiber. We have two young boys and they are putting it through the wringer with alot of jumping, wrestling and snuggling. We all agree that it feels great.
The other day I noticed a small blood stain on my brand new duvet. Probabaly from one of my boys. Anyway, I used a little bath soap and water to dab at it, and to my surprise the stain disappeared immediately. The color remains fine as well. I have not fully laundered the duvet yet, but based on the ease with which I was able to remove the stain, I am very pleased with the fabric. I am reserving a star until I see how it handles a full laundering.
The shams are king sized, which I like as my last duvet came with standard size shams and I have a king size bed, and the cushions are a nice finishing touch.
I am very happy with my purchase.

I guess I got what I paid for with this comforter.The price was cheap and the comforter is too.But it's for the guest bedroom so it'll do.It's not cotton but a polyester blend so it feels cold in the winter.It takes a while to get warm but it is machine washable so that's nice.If you want a quality comforter, don't get this one.The best comforter I've gotten so far was from Pottery Barn.I got a twin size for my 4-year-old and it's the best.It's cotton and so plush and warm.It'll last for years!

I got this for allergy control, but I found it also helps to keep my feathers from flying out.This is the cheapest price for this item I've seen, and I had done quite a bit of research.The Pristine products are high quality, and appears to be durable.It is a finely woven fabric without a plastic membrane, so it is comfortable as well.It is a bit slippery in feel, and makes the comforter move around alot.I fixed it by attaching ties to the inside corners of the cover, and to the corners of the comforter.Tie them together at the respective corners, and the comforter stays in place.

This comforter was made out of rich but sturdy quality material.I had purchased several other comforter sets and returned them because fabric would snag on my chapped hands.The colors are rich and has a real luxurious look.Very, very happy with this!

The comforter I received has what appear to be manufacturer flaws, such as twisted pieces sown on incorrectly. The underside the is the same poly material as the top, so it continously slides off the bed at night. Other than that, it was inexpensive and goes well with the decor in my room.

The comforter in the bag is NOT the one in the picture. It's not brown. It's not urban. It's a piece of badly sown, badly designed crap made from materials that Bangladeshis wouldn't use for livestock blankets. Yes, it really is that bad. Totally not worth the cost.

i just received this set today. there is a reason why it's so cheap. the material is on the cheap side and it isn't made very well. there were many loose strings hanging everywhere which i had to cut because i was afraid that if i pulled on them it would unravel the whole thing. the stiching was loose. overall, i would just spend the extra money and get quality!

Review of 7Pcs King Metrotown Bed in a Bag Comforter Set Slate

I expected the fabric to be of more quality.There are already snags and stitching/thread was hanging loose when I opened the bag, not sure why.There was also what looked to be a lot of carpet fuzz on the bedspread as well.. not sure how that got there.I guess it was worth $80, which is what I got it for on sale.I wouldn't dare pay the original price of $250 though as its not worth it.
