I saw this set at Target but they didn't carry cal. king size. So I ordered this item when it was on backorder, and when it came in 6 weeks later, it was a nice surprise. The colors are just very nice and relaxing. We even painted the bedroom a light blue to match. The cal. king drapes nicely over our king size bed. I definately reccommend ordering a size bigger than your bed is. Comforter is not too thick, but still a little warm for our Florida summer nights. I've since purchased a chocolate color microfiber throw to use at night. The dust ruffle is a muted blueish-gray, does not compliment the great comforter color, but we have bed rails so the color isn't seen much anyway. The shams are a bit stiff and itchy, but maybe after a few washings they'll soften up. If not, they're great for decoration.
