Disclaimer - I typically do not include comments about the seller in my review, but since King Linen is the exclusive seller of this item I believe comments about them here are relevant.I would still give this item a 3 star even without the King Linen comments.The good:
* My daughter loves the zerbra pattern and the microfiber feel of it so she is somewhat pleased with the purchase.
* You get a lot for your money - comforter, bed skirt, pillow shams, and neck pillow.
The bad:
* The first one is not so bad, more of a bother than anything else, but when we took the comforter and bedding out of the plastic packaging it had a bad odor that lasted several days. Kind of a chemical odor... we put the comforter in another empty room till it aired out.
* The second, and larger problem, was that the comforter was not put together very well.It has areas on it where the seams are falling apart with large pieces of thread sewn over in some sort of attempt to fix the comforter, but it looked horrible and made me feel like the comforter would quickly fall apart.
The ugly:
* I contacted King Linen and after almost two weeks and two emails they finally replied back offering no apology or anything, but just stating 'send us a picture'.A picture?Really?I've never had a company tell me to send them a picture of defective merchandise before they would accept the return.I took a picture and sent it in and waited one week, no response.Sent the picture again, still no response.It has now been well over 30 days since my purchase and no resolution.
Bottom line - my daughter is happy with the look and feel of the comforter and for the money it is ok, but it is cheap quality and King Linen has very poor customer service.Buyer beware, YMMV.
