Upon arrival these sheets smelled just awful - one wash and they were pleasant and soft. Must have been a form of sizing so, just like anything you buy that will touch your skin, you must wash before using. The thread count is medium high and the price was reasonable - half of the price I paid when I bought the bed. Also, the sheets I bought with the bed didn't hold up to repeated washings. Looking forward to complete reliability and comfort for a long time to come with these.Product Description
