Review of TWO TONE REVERSIBLE COMFORTER, DOWN FILL 100% COTTON

Not only did I have to contact the seller to check and see if my order was shipped or not, but I was absolutely HORRIFIED when I received my item. The comforter that I received was not even worth $20; Walmart itself would not even consider selling an item of this caliber. It was not only mis-stitched all over the place, but not filled with down, incredibly lightweight and paper-thin, but the material itself was falling apart. I do not even know how to correctly describe this item... I purchase items on Amazon weekly, and now I am afraid to make another purchase. My daughter is going to college across the country, in California (we live in New Jersey), and we were relying on this comforter. She leaves in less than a week, and we now had to not only spend our time finding a new comforter, but pay an insane amount on shipping on another website to get the comforter here on time. This is absolutely ridiculous, and I cannot even explain how upset I am. I contacted the seller to return the item, and he argued with me. He tried to "replace" the item or offer a discount... I do not want a discount. Finally, he told me that he would either give me a $35 discount (when I spent $130!) or refund it, excluding the shipping. This is not my issue, and I do not believe that I should be held accountable for his obvious misrepresentation of the items that he supplies and sells. I have now had to file a claim with Amazon, due to his incompetence. I will never purchase an item from this seller again, or even Amazon, perhaps. I always believed that the saying "you get what you paid for" held true... but I suppose I was incorrect. Please think twice before you even consider placing an order with this buyer, because I would STRONGLY advise against it.
